Chicken Tenders marinated in Hoisin Sauce

I used the same marinade that was used for the Pork recipe posted last week- but this time I tossed in some chicken tenders instead of pork and it turned out wonderful.
On the side I just roasted some as Asparagus and bell peppers in the oven and tossed them with some onion and string beans.

enjoy!

Abgusht (a Persian Meat Soup)

This soup perfect for a cold day! Although it takes about half a day of cooking- the end results is totally worth it- and you will have left overs for the next day. I usually cook this on a weekend so I’m not pressured on time.

Serve this up with some red radish and Lavash bread- you won’t regret this one- promise.

Mushroom Stew with Chicken

This is one of my husband’s favorites. Like most of my recipes this one is really easy but it takes a little bit more time for the preparation (depending on your knife skills). It only requires 5 main ingredients…

Pork marinated in Hoisin Sauce (thanks Daily Menu)

I came upon this menu while surfing this blog site- and I knew it would be a success cause it also came from Cooking Light (a great mag) so here it is. i followed the whole marinate and left it in the marinate for 24 hours. (I would add a dash of Worchester sauce for more tenderness)

Fettuccine Alfredo with Bacon (from cooking light magazine)

Fettuccine Alfredo with Bacon (from cooking light magazine)
I have added my suggestions next to their ingredients-
this was a perfect romatic dinner that I was able to enjoy also- you dont spend all your time in the kitchen and actually get to have some time together. although it "serves 4" it only served 2 cause it was soo good- nothing was left over!

Combine with the Molten Chocolate Cake and you will have a night to remember!
Bon Appetit!!

asian salad dressing

here is another favorite of mine, it's an asian salad dressing. very easy and quick to make. I like to chill it a little bit before I pour it over greens. for the salad I use lettuce, cabbage, mandarin oranges (in a can), and some wonton strip found in your local grocery store in their international aisle if they have one. Enjoy!

And to make this a quick meal add some chicken strips on top..
